El ECDIS 900 es el primer ECDIS en el mundo en recibir
la certificación ‘Wheelmark’ usando un Monitor Plano
(FlatPanelComputer).
La line MARIS Smart-Line es la unica FPC Certificada IEC 60945 para su uso a bordo.
El monitor plano TFT usado por MARIS aporta grandes
mejoras sobre los monitores CRT tradicionales. El
monitor plano LCD no distorsiona y tiene una reflexión mínima,
facilitando una mejor visión en condiciones de mucha luminosidad y la
salida no produce interferencias magneticas ni radiación.
El brillo y la claridad del LCD excede con creces la técnología del
CRT, ofreciendo mejores condiciones de visión mientras que
consume y pesa menos, además de ocupar mucho menos que el CRT.
EL MARIS ECDIS900 incorpora la ultima tecnología y además con un precio muy competitivo, permitiendole ahorrar en el
transporte, la instalación y coste de servicio de instalación del equipo.
Añadiendo el MARIS PC Radar Kit, el ECDIS900 puede además apliarse para mostrar video radar sobre la cartografía.
Añadiendo
el Paquete de Software MARIS ARPA2000, tendrá un sistema RADAR/ARPA
para remplazar o complementar su tradicional radar/ARPA (con la
posibilidad de maestro/esclavo). El software permite conmutar
entre dos o más radar/ARPA, evitando soluciones
hardware mucho mas caras para la misma función.
Mas de 500 sistemas de ECDIS900 ha sido vendidos a usuarios

• No need to plot the same waypoint several times: a new route can be
created in one click from a selection of existing waypoints.
• Check the route for dangers and highlight them on the chart.
• Route simulation: passage calculator including ETA /TTG and required speed.
Passage Plan
• Prepare, store and print a passage plan linked to the selected route.
• Passage Plans, compliant in particular with Tanker regulations, are
partly filled in by the ECDIS900 (chart numbers and way point
positions) and then completed by the navigator manually.
